Welcome to the world of InkBlot Complex, LLC, founded by the multi-hyphenate Clara Rose Thornton, an award-winning journalist, spoken word artist, educator, and event producer. Under the banner of InkBlot Complex, entertainment, education, and activism collide, servicing the reach toward better societies. Thornton has lived and worked in six countries. She brings a globalized perspective and cross-connecting empathy to each project and client.

Services are executed through the planning and expertise of a longtime working artist and entrepreneur, with a dedicated team. Additionally, Thornton provides well researched sensitivity reader and developmental editor services for writers. As a sensitivity reader, she focuses on the depiction of Black American and other African diasporic characters, and intercultural portrayal in historical settings.
